Bhakti5 is a free, ad-free Hindu Panchang (almanac) web application. We aim to provide the most accurate and comprehensive Panchang data — including daily tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, muhurat timings, festival calendars, planetary transits, and regional Hindu calendar systems — entirely computed from astronomical first principles.
No external APIs. No subscriptions. No advertisements. Just pure devotion to accuracy.
Bhakti5 is available in 12 Indian languages, each with a dedicated subdomain:
Translation coverage varies by section. Core panchang and festival pages are fully localised in most languages; deeper article content is being translated progressively.
Our Panchang calculations are based on modern astronomical algorithms and may differ by a few minutes from traditional panchangams published by local mathas or jyotish organizations. These differences arise from variations in ayanamsa values, sunrise definitions (geometric vs. apparent), and atmospheric refraction models.
If you find any discrepancy, please reach out to us at contact@bhakti5.com.
Bhakti5 runs entirely on open standards. No third-party astrology APIs are involved — every tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, ayanamsa, and muhurat figure on this site is computed in-house from first principles.
astronomy-engine (VSOP87 + ELP2000 series) for solar and lunar positions. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast and keyboard-navigation standards across the site. Native scripts are used for every supported language so screen readers and search engines can render content correctly. If a page is hard to use with assistive technology, please email contact@bhakti5.com with the URL and the issue you encountered — we treat accessibility regressions as bugs.
We're actively working on the following:
We do not commit to fixed dates — everything ships when it is correct.
Temple photographs used on this site are sourced from Wikimedia Commons and used under Creative Commons licenses (CC BY-SA 3.0 / CC BY-SA 4.0). We are grateful to the photographers and contributors who make these images freely available. Mantra translations and ritual descriptions draw on public-domain dharmic literature; corrections are welcomed at the contact address below.
Bhakti5 is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for the highest accuracy, we do not guarantee that the information is error-free. Users should consult their family priest or local panchangam for important religious observances.
For corrections, translation help, suggestions, or collaboration enquiries, please write to contact@bhakti5.com.
We are especially interested in hearing from native speakers of Marathi, Sanskrit, and Konkani who can help refine on-page copy in their language.
